Impression Very Fine. Superbly executed "bokashi" shading throughout; baren "sujizuri" (tracings) to foreground area; highly detailed carving, crisp key-lines.
Condition Excellent/Pristine.
Deep saturation of colors. Clean frontside and verso. (Tiny mark upper margin.) Exceptional condition--due to Muller's archival storage.

Comments Beautifully colored springtime red temple scene--one of Hasui's most sought after designs. Rare "First Edition" printing. (Hotei's "Sanno" image (pg 509) is similarly "double-sealed"--as are all know copies of this print.)
