Impression Very Fine.
Superbly executed "bokashi" shading; extensive "gauffrage" (embossing) to collar, kimono's pattern and hair-piece; "burnishing" to black eyes and hair; lavish blue/grey "mica" background; highly detailed carving, crisp "key-lines."
Condition Nearly Excellent.
Excellent colors. Clean front and verso. (Faint spotting upper margin--otherwise flawless.)
No prior mounts.

Comments A striking print--from Shunsen's first series, "Thirty-six Kabuki Actors Portraits"
