| Impression |
Very Fine. Superbly executed "bokashi" shading throughout print; baren "sujizuri"
(tracings) to boat and foreground; light "gauffrage" to clouds; life-like reflection;
nicely visible woodgrain to sky; highly detailed carving. (Tiny ink-smudge margin edge.) |
| Condition |
Excellent. Clean front and verso. (Glue residue upper verso corner; slight bump
bottom margin--otherwise flawless.) |
| Reference/Illus |
Narazaki #138; Hotei #136A. |
| Comments |
Wonderful colors--this is the "pink sky" version. Appropriate seal for "First Edition"
printing. A seldom seen print. |
