Comments |
An early 1929 bijin-ga design by Torri Kotondo--renowned for his images
of beautiful women.
The extensive use of "baren sujizuri" (circular tracings) to background
provides a strongly textural contrast to the brilliant red-patterned
summer bathrobe.
(Images provided by European collector.)
A RARELY seen 1929 print.
