Vertically burnished streaks of falling rain; nice "bokashi" shading to cartouche and kimono; burnishing to black lantern; highly detailed carving; set against jet-black background.
Condition Very Good++.
Excellent colors.
(Verso 1-inch repair lower center, staining; few small holes; scattered thinning; marks and flaws. Full original margins. Unbacked.

Comments Exquisite. Geisha Oume is shown committing the murder of Kamekichi, whose advances she had refused for some time. This print is the 11th in a series of only 20 prints that Yoshitoshi designed as a suppliment ot the Yamato Newspaper.
