| Impression |
Very Fine. Superbly executed "bokashi" shading throughout; nicely visible woodgrain entire background; the
reflected moon's edge raised in "gauffrage"; sharp key-lines, much fine detailing. |
| Condition |
Excellent. Excellent colors. Clean front and backside. Full, original margins (note "kento marks" right edge,
bottom right). (No flaws noted.) |
| Reference/Illus |
"Crow, Cranes, and Camellias" pl# K-41.25 and cat# 136, pg 139. |
| Comments |
An absolutely charming and delightful Koson image. PRE-1923 earthquake (note: Daikoku-ya Publisher ceased
business in 1923).
(Believed based on an earlier Gekko-designed image
