Although not a "Made in Japan" woodblock-- Kristensen is self-trained in Japanese carving/printing
techniques, and all of Tom's prints are also made using only Japanese papers, pigments, and tools.
Here are a few photos Tom sent to us taken inside his studio.
Kristensen is clearly a very talented and creative artist/printmaker. |
Comments |
Tom's second Portrait of Barack Obama--the 44th President of the United States of America.
This abstract design is made after a "carbon nanotube" image created by scientists at the University
of Michigan.
A very "Limited Edition" totalling ONLY 35 prints.
With this new series of "American Presidents" prints, Kristensen has discovered immediate success--reporting
to us that this first design of Barack Obama is now "sold out."
