Very Fine. Skillfully executed "bokashi" shading; light "gauffrage" to outline of sailboat's sails; baren
"sujizuri" (tracings) to sails; nicely
visible woodgrain to water; life-like reflection in water; crisply detailed lines. |

Good to Very Good. Quite good colors. Clean backside; full margins. (Wear, small holes, thinning
(reinforced) to margins and corners; scratch to center sail; light toning.) |

Comments |
Very large ("double-oban"), beautiful Yoshida "sailboat" image. Seldom seen--impressively large format and difficult to print.
This is the "blue background 'Afternoon' version (without the distant boats left);" five other variant states exist for this image
(using different colors). |
