Very Fine. Skillfully executed "bokashi" shading to sky, rooftop, distant
mountain, and foreground; "gauffrage" to roof-edges and railing;
"baren sujizuri" tracings to foreground; life-like shadowing; highly detailed carving. |

Nearly Excellent. Clean front and verso (no prior mounts). (Two-inch crease
lower/right corner; slight wear.) |

Beautiful nighttime scene of Kyoto's famous Kiyomizu Temple bathed in
moonlight. Not often seen. Unsealed prints (hand-applied) are not uncommon
from Watanabe; but known to be pre-War. |
