Impression Very Fine. Skillfully executed "bokashi" shading throughout; lightly visible woodgrain to background; light "gauffrage" to monkey's face and wiskers; sharp key-lines, much fine detailing.
Condition Nearly Excellent. Excellent colors. Clean front and backside. Full, original margins (note "kento marks" right edge, bottom right). (Few scattered marks, very slight wear.)

Comments A delightful Koson image of a monkey holding and inquisitively studying a dragonfly. PRE-1923 earthquake (note: Daikoku-ya Publisher ceased business in 1923). A rarely seen print.
