Technique Painting itself is of black, grey, green, soft red "sumi" and white "gofun" on light tan paper.
Mounting Size Entire "kakejiku" (hanging scroll) is 16 3/4 x 76 overall.
Mounting Details Light tanish paper (artwork) mounted on dark green/white-patterned paper; deep gold fan-patterned silk "ichimonji" brocade top/bottom; shiny black-lacquered wood end-pieced bottom roller.
Condition Nearly Excellent.
(Only slight wear; light toning. Very clean. Minimal wrinkling, hangs nicely.)
Comments An attractively hand-painted image of hilltop pine trees silhouetted against a distant snow-capped peak--nicely mounted as a hanging scroll. Superb condition. A unique, truly one-of-a-kind artwork.
