Technique Painting itself is black and grey sumi on light tan silk--exquisitely rendered.
Mounting Size Entire "kakejiku" (hanging scroll) is 20 1/2 x 76 3/4 overall.
Mounting Details Light tanish silk (artwork) mounted against olive/brownish silk; brown flower-patterned tan silk "ichimonji" brocade top/bottom; BONE end-pieced bottom roller.
Condition Very Good to Nearly Excellent.
(Non-obtrusive, faint water stain lower right corner and top/left "ichimonji"; few tiny scattered spots; light wear. Quite clean. Largely wrinkle-free, hangs nicely.)
Comments A beautifully hand-painted artwork, with tiger walking through bamboo under a full moon--nicely mounted as a hanging scroll. Exceptional. A unique, truly one-of-a-kind artwork.
