Impression Very Fine. Superbly executed "bokashi" shading; nicely detailed carving.
Condition Nearly Excellent. Excellent colors.
Clean front and verso. (Very slight toning; inperceptible presentation mat-line far right edge; few scattered marks, very slight wear.)

Comments Wonderful carp/koi image--known throughtout Japan as symbols of strength and perserverance. PRE-1923 Great Kanto/Tokyo earthquake. (Note: Daikoku-ya Publisher ceased business in 1923.) RARELY seen.
